As a typical child, I enjoyed flicking through comics.

But then, I feel into the trap of thinking reading comics were a kids thing...

until I discovered the existence of manga and graphic novels.

Since then I have been an avid reader of them.

And the work of the artists who created them have influenced my work.

I have made a number of small comic strips in this blog,
much of them the "final sketches" in my Acts of Cultural Vandalism
