Television

As a child I watched a lot of television.

Probably more than a child should, as I do remember seeing a number of notable shows from the 1990s as they came out. But don't worry parents, due to may autism I never really got what was going on or absorbed any "bad influences" you imagine such shows emit.

Most of my viewing I remember fondly include - Animaniacs, Shooting Stars, The Fast Show, Harry Enfield and Chums, Beadles' About, Noel's House Party, Harry HillPaul Merton: The Series, One Foot In The Grave, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Goodness Gracious Me ..... I can go on.

And that's just shows that came out as I grew up. I also saw repeats and recordings from my parents video library, of old shows, including - Fawlty Towers and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.

Oh, and I must include the American imports I saw, like CheersFrasier, The Cosby Show, Friends, Baywatch, and (of course) The Simpsons.

Although since 2006 the amount of spare time I have to watch TV has decreased (other more important things came to be by then) I still check the schedules every day for programmes worth watching. Fortunately the development of catch-up services (such as BBC iPlayer) and the DVR has helped me further manage my time (and my body clock).
And on times where there is a lot of spare time one thing I do is watch a DVD boxset. (I got a lot that I have not watched let, from comedy shows and dramas to documentaries and animes (they count as TV shows, as many of them were aired on TV first.).

With television been a big influence on my life, TV shows (and the medium itself) feature a lot in my work.

Here's a list of posts about or involve TV and it's shows. (Commercials are listed under Advertising).
